Our Mission

 

At Angel Wings of Lake Travis, our mission is to bring comfort, dignity, and kindness to people facing some of life’s most difficult moments through the care and creativity of our volunteers.

Our work began with a simple but deeply meaningful purpose: transforming donated wedding dresses into beautiful angel gowns for babies who have passed away. These gowns are provided at no cost to grieving families, offering something handmade with love at a time of unimaginable loss.

Over the years, our mission has grown. Today, our volunteers create a wide variety of handmade items for hospitals, care facilities, nonprofit organizations, children, cancer patients, seniors, and others in our community who need a little extra comfort or support.

We believe that small acts of kindness can have a profound impact. A donated dress, a few yards of fabric, an hour spent cutting or sewing - each can become something that lets another person know that someone cares.

Angel Wings brings together people who want to use their time, talents, and resources to help others. Whether you sew, cut, donate materials, or simply lend a hand, there is a place for you in our mission.
